RB406 is good stuff for sanding epoxy, I agree.  I also happen to prefer hand sanding to using power tools most of the time, goodness knows why.

BTW, these people: http://www.ccabrasives.com/woodturners-100mm-j-flex-cloth-rolls-88-c.asp are pretty good and a fair bit cheaper than Axminster Tools.  Although the latter company are pretty good they do tend to add a fairly hefty markup on a lot of the stuff they sell and it pays to shop around.  My current bench lathe is a good example.  It is the same generic Chinese model that Axminster sell for well over £900, yet which is widely available for less than £600.
