BayRaider Expedition Demo Sail With Watercraft Magazine | The New Bay Cruiser Expedition from Swallow Boats is an exciting development of the open Bay Raider 20 day boat. Using the same hull mould, the deck has been completely redesigned to create a cosy cuddy in the bows. | Length: 6.05m Beam: 2.05m Weight: 450kg Draft up: 0.25M Down: 1.42m Sail Area: 17.7sqm
Matt Newland at the helm | Easy to Launch from the road trailer. Note the dry trailer hubs | Performance Rig She retains the same successful water ballast system as our other designs, but features a carbon rig as standard, making her very easy to rig, and fast on the water. Like the Bay Raider 20, she will be a sprightly performer on the water, self righting when her tanks are full with the ability to plane in the right conditions. |
Optional Permateek panels on seats | BRe Cuddy Cabin | Layout In the cabin she has room for two tall adults to stretch out, and with the addition of a cockpit tent, could sleep four. The cabin can also double as an enclosed head for day-sailing and in rainy weather can seat 2 adults & 2 children (children in the bow, facing aft). The Bay Raider Expedition gives priority to cockpit space, able to seat six adults in comfort. If more cabin space is desired (at the expense of the cockpit) take a look at the Swallow Boats Bay Cruiser 20 and 23. |
